Things to Do
It’s easy to plan
days of activity
on Tamborine Mountain
There are a large number of cafes and restaurants to satisfy your gastronomic wishes! We are always happy to make suggestions and we'll give you a guide to the mountain to help your discovery.
The newly opened Brewery and Cheese Factory and the Rainforest Skywalk have added to the many attractions on this beautiful mountain. The popular, scenic Golf course is nearby, and there are nine wonderful National Parks with structured walks, some spectacular waterfalls and picnic spots. There are organised tours of the five wineries and our unique distillery, and the Tamborine Trollies also offer a delightful way of tripping around the mountain.
Enjoy galleries, craft, art and pottery shops, a Heritage centre, nurseries, and the Glow Worm Caves. For the more adventurous there is a major hang-gliding site and horse riding. The fortnightly markets are also enormously popular.
Mountain Edge also provides a perfect base from which to explore other hinterland attractions, including Beechmont, Binna Burra, Springbrook and O’Reilly’s. The Fun Parks - Dreamworld, Movieworld and Wet 'n Wild - and the Australian Outback Spectacular are all within 20 minutes drive.
Mountain Edge - the perfect escape. Just 30 minutes from the Gold Coast and one hour from Brisbane.
